About Jordan Ross Schindler

Jordan Ross Schindler is a professional writer/producer from the Philly suburbs who’s unapologetically stuck in The WB-era of television and proud of it. He got his start in 2015 when he co-created Cruel Intentions: The ‘90s Musical. Since then, Cruel has played Off-Broadway, recorded an original cast album, toured nationally, made its UK debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and will officially be going down under to Australia this summer. After co-writing and co-executive producing NBC’s Cruel Intentions sequel pilot in 2016, Jordan joined the writers’ room for the fourth and final season of E’s The Royals. In 2020, he sold a coming-of-age drama pilot to MGM Television/Escape Artists. He recently wrapped up writing on Netflix’s upcoming teen drama, My Life with the Walter Boys, which is currently filming in Canada.

Cruel Intentions:
The '90s Musical

Based on the iconic film starring Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar, Cruel Intentions: The ’90s Musical pulls you into the manipulative world of Manhattan’s most dangerous liaisons: Sebastian Valmont and Kathryn Merteuil. Fueled by revenge and passion, the diabolically charming step-siblings place a bet on whether or not Sebastian can deflower their incoming headmaster’s daughter, Annette Hargrove. As the two set out to destroy the innocent girl — and anyone else who gets in their way — they find themselves playing a perilous game with only one rule: Never fall in love.
